NM Vignettes -- A Light Sanctuary
Light, like air, is one of those intangibles that we depend on even though we never see it directly. We notice its absence, but never get to feel its presence. At least that was true until Virginia Dwan found a way to give light substance in this light sanctuary in a tiny town outside Las Vegas, New Mexico,
Enter the small sanctuary where dozens of prisms embedded in the ceiling cause rainbows to dance across the walls. Sit on the bench and watch how time changes the position of the light as clouds skitter the rainbows here and there. Relax in a rainbow. Hold one in your hand. Dance among them. This is an experience you may not have again.
Practicalities -
Admission is free if you'll leave your driver's license with the guards at the Moore Welcome Center.

ReplyDeleteDo you know? Prism separates the white light in to 7 part, according to the wavelength of the light.
